Today is my first Menu Plan Monday, hosted by the fabulous Laura at I’m an Organizing Junkie. She inspired me to organize my medicine cabinet/linen closet earlier this summer. I love her! I think this will make my life a lot easier . . . and our tummies much fuller (with things that aren’t chips and Kraft Dinner)
Monday – Pork and Rice casserole with broccoli
Tuesday – leftovers (Paul’s at work so it’s just me!)
Wednesday – Jacket potato with tuna and coleslaw
Thursday – eggs poached in tomato sauce on toast
Friday – Party Chicken with egg noodles, sauteed zucchini and onions
Saturday – Out for supper in the city! Woo-hoo!
Sunday – Pizza
We gave James his first solid food today. He’s only 4 months, but he’s so HUNGRY all the time! He got up 8 times last night to eat, so I finally caved. Pablum doesn’t look all that appealing to me, and Paul wouldn’t try it either. Apparently my breast milk grosses him out. James really seemed to like it, though! Hopefully his little tummy is full now and Mommy and James both can have a restful night!
